I decided to start this blog so I have a place to write about all the things I do related to my hobbies. I plan on keeping track of my tournament results (good or bad), works in progress and posting some thoughts on the games I play as well as other hobby related topics.
I used to play a lot of Warhammer 40k (hence the name of the blog) but have not for a long while now. The direction the game was heading did not appeal to me and the ridiculous cost of the kits has effectively driven me away from that game now. I still have an army just in case I decide to dive back in but for now, no more wargaming. I know there are other wargames out there but the cost is just as prohibitive or I don't know anyone who plays.
Instead I play a lot of other games now. Cheaper in some ways. So I'll be writing about my campaigns in D&D, my ever evolving MTG Cube, various video games I play and other hobbies I've picked up in place of wargaming.
